Services

Supporting you every step of the way

From preparing your vessel for sale to navigating the waterways. That is the span, and the relationship runs both during and after the sale — for buyers and for sellers alike.

How it goes

Three stages, in their order

  1. Preparing your vessel for sale

    Where our support starts.

The work starts before a listing does. If you are thinking about selling, the first conversation is about the boat itself — and it is worth having earlier than most people have it.

  2. Listing your yacht and closing the deal

What we know the ins and outs of.

A team that knows the ins and outs of listing your yacht and closing the deal. We put listings in front of buyers working with other brokers too, not only the ones who find their way to this site.

  3. Navigating the waterways

On the water, during the sale and after it.

The half of our strapline most brokerages have no reason to write down. Joe has held a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain's ticket since 2000 and would rather talk you through engine repair or boat handling than watch you work it out alone.

What that means

The relationship goes past finding or listing a boat

Joe's own description of what this brokerage does, set out for both sides of a sale. Neither list stops at the closing, which is the part he wanted said out loud.

For buyers

  • We help you work out what type of boat actually fits how you plan to use it.
  • We search the listed inventory and the boats that have not been publicly marketed yet.
  • We arrange showings.
  • We guide you through the offer and the purchase agreement.
  • We help coordinate surveys and sea trials.
  • We handle the negotiation with you.
  • We make sure you know what the next steps are after the purchase.
  • We point you to people we trust for service, maintenance, upgrades, dockage and the rest of owning a boat.
  • We stay a resource after the closing.

For sellers

  • We evaluate the boat and where the market is for it.
  • We recommend a price and how to position her.
  • We work out what is worth repairing, servicing, cleaning or upgrading before she goes to market.
  • We coordinate professional photography and how the listing is presented.
  • We write the description and the marketing materials.
  • We distribute the listing through the brokerage network and the co-brokerage market.
  • We manage the enquiries and the showings.
  • We coordinate the offers, the survey, the sea trial and the closing.
  • We help you work out what comes next.
